One of the biggest reasons to travel to this area of the country is to experience its many water parks, which are some of the most fun attractions you’ll find in South Africa or anywhere else in the world! The region's terrain is home to Addo Elephant National Park, which has an extensive trail network. This animal sanctuary has herds of elephants, zebras, impalas and white rhinos. The park includes a sanctuary for orphaned or abandoned baby animals that were injured or lost their mothers.

The Crags Country Estate
If you are visiting the region and want to spend some time exploring local sights, then a visit to The Crags Country Estate will be one of the highlights of your holiday. The estate’s immaculate grounds have been described as The Garden of Eden on Earth, with beautiful landscapes and fauna found around every corner.

Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve
The Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve is the oldest proclaimed reserve in Africa and currently comprises of parks that showcase different African habitats. The Ramsar wetlands has over 400 species of birds and the white rhinos are part of their efforts to preserve this endangered species.
