The Best Vegan Cafes in Thailand You Won’t Want to Miss

It’s difficult to find a decent vegan restaurant, let alone an entire cafe dedicated to vegan food. There are so many fantastic cafes in Thailand that can cater to vegans and meat-eaters alike, with all kinds of amazing options that you won’t want to miss out on! From the classic avocado toast to the ever-so-popular tofu scramble and smoothies, here are some of the best vegan cafes in Thailand that you won’t want to miss.

Bonita Cafe & Social Club, Bangkok

Since it has been operating for ten years in Bangkok, this family-run cafe has established itself as a favourite among both residents and visitors who are vegan. The menu features straightforward vegan fare including soups, salads, and sandwiches and has a health-conscious philosophy. For individuals seeking to mingle and connect with other vegans, the proprietors frequently hold events at the cafe. They also have a good selection of smoothies and non-alcoholic beverages that are perfect for anyone looking for refreshments during the hot season.
Cafe Koi Dang Lang, Chiang Mai: As one of Chiang Mai's only vegan restaurants, Cafe Koi Dang Lang is definitely worth checking out if you're visiting. They offer organic Thai dishes like curries, noodle dishes, fried rice, soup noodles and an assortment of desserts that use natural sweeteners instead of refined sugar.

The Vegan Table, Phuket

Visit The Vegan Table in Phuket for vegan renditions of just about every food conceivable. Freshly squeezed juices, avocado toast, vegan pizza, and other items are among the selections. Our favourite treat is their vegan cheesecake. It's made with soy cream cheese, cashews, and coconut sugar. They also have a wide selection of fresh-pressed fruit juices made from local fruits grown on their own organic farm.

Reform Kafe, Chiang Mai

When we're craving traditional Thai cuisine, such the coconut curry soup with noodles known as khao soi, Reform is one of our go-to dining establishments. It is located in a cute small garden within the Green Tiger Guest House, a Chiang Mai guesthouse made entirely of plants. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, but not too busy that it detracts from the quality of food and service. We highly recommend this place for some healthy vegan dishes that are full of flavor! They serve dishes like green papaya salad, tom yum soup, pad thai noodles and many more. If you happen to visit during breakfast hours (served 8:00am – 11:30am) you can try their tofu scramble and home fried potatoes which are both absolutely delicious. There's even gluten free bread available on request!
