Have you ever seen a place that made you stop in your tracks and say, Wow!? Of course you have! The world is full of beautiful and interesting places, each more vibrant and exciting than the next. But which places are the most colorful? In order to answer this question, we turned to our friends at travel-guidebook publisher Lonely Planet and got them to tell us their list of the 8 most colorful places in the world. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Rio is famous for its beaches, mountains, and forests. The city's most well-known attraction is the Sugarloaf Mountain. The Corcovado Mountain towers over Rio and is home to one of Brazil's most iconic landmarks: Cristo Redentor, or Christ the Redeemer. This statue stands at an incredible 98 feet tall and overlooks both Rio and Corcovado Bay.
Havana, Cuba
When you think of Cuba, what's your first thought? Cigars, cigars, and more cigars. Havana is a city that lives and breathes these rolled up stogies all day long. La Paz, Bolivia
