Before you leave
When you’re on the road, you never know what the next day will bring. The unknown is scary, but it doesn’t have to be if you prepare for it ahead of time. I like to do a few things before I leave that help me feel more at ease about traveling with anxiety.
During your travel
If you’re like me, you often feel a little anxiety when you’re traveling. The unknown and the feeling of not knowing what’s going to happen are major sources of stress for me, and I know they can be for others too. But there is a hack that will give you peace of mind while traveling: plan ahead as much as possible. When we know what to expect and how to handle situations that arise, we feel so much more in control.
Upon arrival

Luckily, my anxiety hack helped me feel at ease. When you walk into the airport, grab your cellphone and head over to the lost-and-found office! Once there, ask for a piece of paper and a pen to write down your phone number.
