The Top 5 Reasons to Have Your Honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia

Choosing where to go on your honeymoon can be overwhelming, especially if you’re trying to choose between several amazing locations. Bali, Indonesia tops the list of favorite honeymoon destinations among newlyweds because of its beautiful scenery, tranquil beaches, and rich culture. If you’re thinking about having your honeymoon in Bali, here are five reasons why it should be at the top of your destination list.

1) Awesome Weather

One of the best things about Bali is the weather. The island has a tropical climate, which means that it’s warm and sunny all year round. And because it’s located near the equator, there isn’t much variation in temperature from one season to the next.
Because of its ideal location near a large ocean body and also it’s low latitude position, Bali enjoys a stable climate year round. There are two seasons that you’ll want to be aware of when visiting Bali. The first is called Amihan (or West Monsoon), which brings cool weather from December through March.
The second is called Habagat (or East Monsoon), which brings warm weather from April through November. As a general rule of thumb, expect rain during Habagat and sunshine during Amihan. Even though they’re opposites, these seasons are each only around 2 months long. You won’t see extended periods of rainy or dry weather throughout your visit.

2) Beautiful Beaches

If you love going to the beach, then Bali should be at the top of your list. With crystal clear water and soft white sand, they are the perfect place to relax and spend time with your new spouse. The beaches are also great for surfing, snorkeling, and other water activities.
There are many world-class beaches you can choose from. Jimbaran Beach is one of Bali’s most popular and beautiful beaches with activities for both swimmers and non-swimmers alike.

Gili Islands are three small islands located off of Lombok. They’re known for their great diving and snorkeling as well as a party scene at night with great food and drinks. These beaches are accessible by boat and offer you a way to get away from it all if you want to just relax on vacation with your spouse. You can also add one of these islands as an extension or add-on to your existing stay in Bali.

3) Temples & Culture

Or visit the Elephant Safari Park during their annual Elephant Festival – an event designed to promote elephant conservation through research and education.
