The 5 Best Beer Gardens in Boston to Visit This Fall

With the days getting shorter and the weather cooling down, there’s no better time to drink good beer and eat hearty German food while surrounded by fun activities. Fortunately, Boston has some of the best beer gardens in the United States, so you don’t have to travel far to experience an authentic Bavarian beer garden in Boston this fall! Check out these 5 great beer gardens in Boston to visit this autumn.

Trillium Brewing Company
Actually, four beer gardens are located around New England at this Boston brewery. Although their Canton site has a fall festival in October that is absolutely worth the trek, we prefer their location on the Greenway for its accessibility and the fact that it features a new food truck every day of the week. Intermission, Short North: Of course you can’t visit all five beer gardens in one season (or even one month), but if you must pick just one spot, head over to the Short North!

Aeronaut Allston
Zone 3 is a project started by Harvard students to bring events, public art, and creative initiatives to Western Ave in Allston. Aeronaut Brewing Company offers a seasonal beer garden there. The beer garden is a great place for residents and students to mingle before the winter weather keeps everyone indoors because it’s open till the end of November. // Angry Orchard Cidery: Located on 15 orchard street in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Angry Orchard Cidery specializes in craft hard ciders made from 100% fresh pressed apples. You can enjoy their selection at their outdoor bar with some tasty appetizers like pizza. It’s an 18+ only event so grab your ID!
