The weather this summer in Seattle has been beautiful, but that’s not the only reason to visit this great city! The following are 8 things you can’t miss while you’re visiting Seattle this summer.

Seattle, Washington State’s largest city, is surrounded by water, mountains, and evergreen forests. Thousands of acres of parkland are located inside the city and home to Seattle’s tech industry. The most well-known landmark of the city is the futuristic Space Needle, a legacy of the 1962 World’s Fair.

1) Visit the Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market is one of Seattle’s most iconic landmarks. The market is a great place to find fresh produce, flowers, and seafood. You can also explore the many shops and stalls, and watch the street performers. Be sure to visit the famous Gum Wall!

If you’re feeling peckish, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants located throughout Pike Place Market. Enjoy some time outside with a picnic! For something different, take a gondola ride up to LeMeridien Hotel. From here you have fantastic views of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. It’s a great spot for sunset photography!
