Don’t Miss These Great Spots in Vienna!

If you’re visiting Vienna, there are so many things to do that you might not even know where to start! Luckily, we’ve put together this list of great places to check out in Vienna that are sure to put a big smile on your face and help you make the most of your trip. Here’s what you should check out the next time you visit the Austrian capital.

1) Belvedere Palace

The Belvedere Palace is a beautiful baroque building that was once the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Today, it houses the Belvedere Museum, which has an impressive collection of Austrian art from the Middle Ages to the present day. The palace grounds are also lovely, and make for a great walk on a sunny day. There’s also a formal garden with pretty fountains, plenty of benches and trees, as well as a cafe. Be sure to climb up the hill behind the palace and take in spectacular views over Vienna.

2) Jewish Quarter

The Jewish Quarter is one of the most historic and interesting parts of Vienna. A must-see while you’re in town, the Quarter is full of great food, shopping, and architecture. Be sure to check out the Judenplatz Memorial and the Jewish Museum while you’re here. You’ll also want to take a look at the unique synagogues like Karlsruhe Synagogue or Temple Bar Synagogue. Head over to Leopoldstadt for more historical sites like Schoenbrunn Palace and Schonnbrunn Zoo.

3) Prater Park

Prater Park is a large public park that has been around since the early 1800s. The park is home to many attractions, including a Ferris wheel, an amusement park, and a botanical garden. If you’re looking for a place to relax or have some fun, Prater Park is definitely worth a visit. It’s also close to other major sights like the Schönbrunn Palace and Hofburg Imperial Palace.
