Canaima National Park in Venezuela should be at the top of any waterfall lover’s travel bucket list, and here’s why. The park itself was established in 1975 to protect the beautiful Canaima Lagoon, which is connected to the Carrao River by an impressive waterfall called Salto Angel (Angel Falls). The best time to visit is between June and December, when the water flow is at its strongest. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water, as the hike to the falls can be challenging.

Kamá Waterfall


Kamá waterfall is one of the most popular attractions in Canaima National Park. The waterfall is over 100 feet tall and is located in a secluded spot, making it the perfect place to relax and take in the natural beauty. The best time to visit Kamá waterfall is during the rainy season when the water flow is at its strongest. However, even during the dry season, the waterfall is still impressive and worth a visit.
