Best Rooftop Bars in New York City with Incredible Views

Rooftop bars have become quite popular across the country, with cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco leading the trend. New York City, which already had its share of rooftop bars, has seen an influx of even more rooftop bars in recent years. From Soho to the West Village, here are five great rooftop bars in New York City with amazing views.
Panorama Room

The name speaks for itself. This Roosevelt Island rooftop bar has vistas that make it worthwhile to go from Manhattan, and the beverages aren’t terrible either. The bar serves martinis and sparkling wines and is situated on the 18th level of the Graduate Roosevelt Island hotel. It also offers views of the Queensboro Bridge, as well as a photo-worthy sunset.
Smoke & Mirrors: Located at 1305 Broadway (between 28th Street and 29th Street), this bar includes a retractable roof so you can enjoy all-season drinks in peace. It also has a rotating dance floor where guests can twirl around while they sip their cocktails.
Salon de Ning

Check out Salon de Ning, a rooftop bar on Fifth Avenue with both inside seating and two terraces overlooking one of New York’s most renowned streets below, if you’re searching for some fantastic NYC skyline views from within Manhattan. If you’re looking to enjoy the sun (or stars) as it sets over the city, head over to Roof at Hotel Hugo – Midtown East where drink specials will be waiting for you. And last but not least is Top of the Standard – East Village; this bar has amazing views of New York City so spectacular that it may well have been named after them!
Overstory

More like over 60 stories. The 64th level of a structure in the city’s Financial District houses this rooftop bar. Cocktails and light fare are available both inside and on the bar’s wraparound terrace, where reservations are advised. Enjoy views of Midtown Manhattan to your left, Queens to your right, and the Statue of Liberty across the harbor to your right. On a clear day you can even see JFK International Airport!
