A Day At The Ballpark Doesn’t Have To Break The Bank

A trip to the ballgame can be expensive, particularly if you’re taking your whole family. The tickets alone will cost you more than $20 per person, and snacks and souvenirs just add up from there. It doesn’t have to be that way, though! By attending at the right time of year and getting creative with your purchases, you can still have fun at the game without spending too much money.

Especially In The Nosebleeds
Now, we’re not advocating that you take the most uncomfortable seats available. However, if you don’t mind sitting up high, there are numerous baseball fields in the league where you can purchase tickets for as cheap as $15. Sitting up there is quite OK, and you’ll still have a great time. After all, the nosebleed seats still have beer, Cracker Jacks, Peanuts, and all the trimmings! Not to mention, they offer a clear view of what’s going on on the field below. If this doesn’t sound like your idea of fun, then go ahead and sit down low. Whatever you do just make sure you get to the game early to snag yourself some food – after all those innings it will be hard to find anything healthy or appetizing at first pitch!

Especially For The Lower Market Teams
It’s true that certain clubs, like the Yankees, Cubs, or Dodgers, cost more to witness in person. However, there are a tonne of other teams who provide tickets at really affordable prices, particularly those from smaller cities. Heck, you might be able to locate really affordable seats in terrific locations for a Pittsburgh Pirates game. You’d have a fun as well. Of course, this doesn’t mean that all major league baseball games come with very low costs. One thing is for sure: you’re always going to get what you pay for – even when it comes to games! For example, if you choose to go see your team play against a local rival, then be ready to pony up because these games are bound to bring out the most intense fans and cause some serious heart-pumping excitement! On the flip side, if you choose to stay home and catch the game on TV instead of buying a ticket, then rest assured that most viewers can still appreciate your favorite players from their couches.
