8 Ways to Have Fun in Seattle, Washington Without Spending Any Money

Seattle is an amazing city, with lots of fun things to do and see no matter what your age or taste in entertainment. It can be hard to find free things to do when you’re on a tight budget, however; if you’re looking to save some money and still have fun, consider these eight ways to have fun in Seattle without spending any money at all!

1) Explore Seattle’s parks

With over 400 parks within the city limits, there’s no excuse not to get out and explore! Additionally, they’re all available for free. From Volunteer Park to Woodland Park Zoo, there’s something for everyone. So get out there and enjoy all that Seattle has to offer!

2) Visit the free museums in Seattle

The Museum of Pop Culture, the Chihuly Garden and Glass, and the Seattle Art Museum are some of the best museums in Seattle. They’re all free, too! If you’re looking for a more unique experience, check out the Museum of History and Industry or the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience. All of these museums offer a great way to spend an afternoon without spending any money.

3) Go For A Walk With Your Dog !

One of the best things about living in Seattle is all of the green space. If you have a dog, take advantage of it and explore one of the many dog-friendly trails or parks. If you don’t have a dog, now is a great time to borrow a friend’s! Not only will you get some exercise, but you’ll also get to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery.

4) Get outside and enjoy nature

There are plenty of ways to enjoy nature without spending any money. Take a walk or run through one of Seattle’s many parks, such as Discovery Park or Volunteer Park. Soak up the sun at Golden Gardens Park or Alki Beach. Or explore the city’s hiking trails, such as the ones at Cougar Mountain or Mount Si.
