For the outdoor enthusiasts, Mt. Mansfield is a must-see. At 4,393 feet, it’s the tallest mountain in Vermont and offers stunning views of the surrounding area. There are plenty of hiking and camping opportunities, so you can really get away from it all.
If you’re looking for a more relaxed vacation, Vermont also has plenty to offer in terms of small towns and quaint villages. Strolling through these picturesque towns is the perfect way to spend a day (or two).
And last but not least, no trip to Vermont would be complete without some good old-fashioned maple syrup. Be sure to stop by a sugar shack and pick up some local syrup to take home with you!

In addition to the falls, there are also hiking trails and other outdoor activities nearby.
For example, Sugarbush Resort has skiing and snowboarding opportunities right at your fingertips.
There’s also so much history to explore! You can visit Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site or Shelburne Museum & Fairgrounds (which was formerly known as Shelburne Farms).
