South Pointe, another park in Miami with a beautiful beachfront setting, has developed through time into one of the most popular tourist destinations. Before continuing your exploration of the park and learning about the plethora of enjoyable things it has to offer, be sure to stop by the South Pointe Park Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1914 and was designated as a national historic landmark on December 29th, 1976. For those who are more interested in animals than humans, there is also an animal rehabilitation center on site that rescues injured wildlife such as birds and sea turtles for release back into their natural habitats.

Bayfront Park

Some of Miami’s most stunning landmarks, such as the Biscayne Bay fountain and Bayfront Park Amphitheater, may be found while exploring this lush sanctuary. Add some rare plants to your bucket list, like the majestic bald cypress tree or the endangered mangrove trees that line Miami’s shores.
