Staten Island Ferry is a ferry system operated by the Staten Island Ferry (SIF) as part of the New York City Department of Transportation. Tickets are available for use on weekdays from 5:00 am – 1:00 am and from 7:00 am – midnight on weekends. One-way tickets cost $2.25 and includes a one-hour round trip excursion that departs every half hour between 6am and midnight, with service after 8pm running every hour.
